I’ll probably catch hell for saying this again, but the only way the republicans in the senate will have new leadership is if the current leaders (McConnell and Cornyn) are removed from office. For the simple reason that no republican in the senate will dare challenge them and even if they did, the rest would rally around them.

McConnell has proved to be a very weak leader and Cornyn has supported every moderate he could find. Maybe McConnell’s support will go so low that he’ll retire. Thirty years in the Senate is long enough!

McConnell, Cornyn, McCain and others are the problem.

“....Cornyn has supported every moderate he could find.”

But, but, but Coryn is a Texan, how can this be? Then there was Kay Bailey Hutcheson. However, Ted Cuz, now there’s someone in whom we can all be proud. Just hope he doesn’t “take the cure” now that he’s been elected.
