The more the Tea Party is attacked, the more it will get stronger.
I believe this is the death of the Republican party.
This is a civil war we must have......are we a Nation of Laws or men.....The the GOP does not stand for a Nation of Laws its stands for nothing and will and deserves to lose.
For me I will stand the constitutions, which means what it says in plain English.
I have long had the idea that Karl Rove is queer for James Carville.
It is not the death of the party but the rebirth of the GOP via the Tea party.
The RINOs are not known as the Stupid Party for nothing.
I believe this is the death of the Republican party.
*********
You mean the Stupid Party? It can’t happen soon enough.
Once the Tea Party has a majority. The “wizards” of smart will jump the good ship USS GOP and say they were conservatives all along.
I’ll no longer hold my nose and vote for an “R.”
“I believe this is the death of the Republican party.”
Now there is some real Hope and Change.
Eric Cantor is out saying the Republicans have to change. The Republican Party has to change. The Republican Party has to show that we want to help people. The Republican Party has to reach across the aisle.
Sorry, but no. The Republican Party has to show that what the Dems are offering is actively hurting people, despite their supposedly good intentions.
The Republicans could end up being a 10% party if they're not careful here. They could end up being the third party, and they could be the 10%.
Exactly as the Democratic [sic] party left Ronald Reagan, so has the Republican part left us.
Small loss.
I’m unaware of anything the Tea Party has done to merit such attacks. They stand for fiscal responsibility and they opposed Obamacare.
“Im unaware of anything the Tea Party has done to merit such attacks. They stand for fiscal responsibility and they opposed Obamacare.”
That is the reason. It’s not the lefts agenda.
Yes the republican party is dead.
How many of our representatives are fighting for American values. Decency. Our everyday living.
The country is being destroyed from within and they’re sitting on their hands, because they don’t have to adhere to all the rules, taxes, healthcare, that they’re burdening everyone else with.
How is it even legal to enforce a law on the people and not on themselves. This in itself is rediculous.
Are we outfitting our country with new F16’s or tanks? Well we are for muslim brotherhood.
Where are our representatives. Where is the American outrage.
If we all know them as the “Stupid Party” then why in hell are we still backing them? Haven’t we seen enough?
I’m aware of the underlying strategy of taking over the GOP from within. Dems are just communists, so to hell with them. But if the Tea Party stood any chance of winning offices and building a majority, it would have to come from within the existing GOP.
I think that strategy has now proven false. The GOP cannot be saved if they are attacking conservatives.
The conservatives must form their own party ... now!
“Paging Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin, please pick up any white courtesy phone.”
Bttt.
I tend to put a class interpretation on this all. The Top 2% divided between Obama and Romney, with the majority going to Romney. The Tea Party are those up and coming people below the truly rich in this country, and the competition to them. These elites have not bothered to ally themselves with the Tea Party because they dont weant to share power. They think they can by dominating the Republican Party still win elections or at least have enough power in Congress to share in the spoils of office.
Uh, Trey Greyson was a self-imploding douchebag, and McCon didn't really bring full weight to bear. Thusly Greyson's 23.4% beating...
I mean, if that's the test case, ya'll, think about it -- the EGOP is provably impotent, and their threats to derail Tea Party candidates are equally impotent...
Rush draws nearer to admitting the need for a third party. I've only come to that recently. Now, I don't relish the idea because a truly-divided Republican party well might strengthen the Democrats for years to come.
But if we're not being represented by the GOP, then, sooner or later, conservatives will no longer be satisfied by sitting out elections. They will want to take part and the third party will be the catalyst.
Coalition government here we come.
