Kyam Washington must have done something: He raped somebody, stole something, hit someone, or was just a bad guy with bad intentions who deserved a fractured skull.
That is what the lawyer and the newspaper said. The rape thing turned out not to be true. Whatever.
But that is why a mob of black people in Manhattan beat him with fists, kicks, a traffic cone and wooden board until they fractured his skull. And why they were in the middle of doing the same to a Good Samaritan before the police arrived.
All on video: Where at least 10 black people assaulted Washington, accompanied by the laughter, cheers, clapping, and encouragement of the nearby crowd.
A woman in a dress is seen taking off her high heeled shoes to take part in the beating. Others yell, “We are from Yonkers, n—–” and provide blow by blow commentary on the assault.
“That’s good footage, there.”
“Hit him two more times.”
“That’s crazy.”
The assault took place in 2010, but the case did not come to trial until last month, when police released the video.
Assistant District Attorney Lucy Cutolo told the jury: “I need to warn you that the video you’re going to see in this case contains graphic disturbing footage of possibly the most prolonged and brutal assault that you have ever, or will ever, see,” reported the New York Daily News at the January trial.
Four were convicted of assault, others remain at large, unknown.
One of the attorneys claimed the entire thing was a miscarriage of justice.

There was a time when if something like this happened a part of the city would burn down and the next day (comment removed........), but then it would be safe to walk the streets for years.

I said it once & I’ll say it again: contaminating the water supply to control the actions of those you don’t approve of is a tactic of the Left. Anyone who embraces attempts at population control (any population) is, at heart, a eugenicist and NOT a conservative. Obviously, you haven’t thought of how such an intervention would impact your own health & the health of those you love, either. Adding hormones to the public water supply would have an enormous impact on the endocrine functions of countless individuals.

As for jail time...hell any jail time is better than what these vermin deserve...

Involuntary contraception is a tactic of the evil left. And would no doubt directly lead to mass slaughter of the already born “unwanteds” (slaughter of the unborn is already happening of course). The solutions are:
1. Each person must face the consequences of their actions. IE sure and swift punishments for crimes. (And not years of jail time at taxpayer expense, merely churning out worse criminals. Better would be public canings and execution for all murder).
2. Absolutely no welfare - no HUD, no food stamps, no subsidized energy/phones/propane/electric, no AFDC, etc. Nada, nothing, not a penny. Charity should be LOCAL and private.
3. Local communities could if they so desire, create “poor farms” where people could live and grow food, with supervision, using local donated monies, and make whatever rules they wish for whoever stays there.
4. Of course, the real solution is for people to become responsible, sober, sane and moral human beings. There’s more to it than the above 3, but it’s a good start.
Well said! I, too, agree that the gov should get out of the business of “charitable” giving & return that to the private sector, I.e. churches & communities.
Before the War on Poverty (and the War on Morality...) blacks had a 20% illegitimacy rate. Now it’s around 80%. The all around illegitimacy rate was 3%. Now it’s 40%.

And when (becuase it has to happen) all welfare (and corportate giveaways too!) is eliminated, we’ll be able to afford to give more to private charity.
After watching the movie “Precious” a few years back I realized just how low the ghetto can go. It’s an eye-opener of a movie if you can stomach it.
Can you provide a link with anything close to that statistic? You are making a shocking claim to justify a frightening conclusion. The burden of proof is on you to back it up.
I don’t watch movies. Every 6 yrs or so if I want to watch one, I dig out the longer versions of the LOTR...

Liberals use lawyers of another race or sex for jury impact purposes. I think the lawyer was doing what he legally could do trying to mitigate his client’s culpability. When your client is caught on video beating a man half-to-death, there isn’t much wiggle room. One of these days a similar event will be video’donly the victim will be armed and will shoot each one of the perks. I’d pay to see it.
5. Tanker truckload of Depo-Provera added to the municipal water supply.
