What the Despised Rich, Smart Kids, and Fallen Heroes Have in Common

What do the despised rich, smart kids, and fallen heroes have in common? They are all victims of the progressive movement. When being rich is finally made synonymous with undeserved privilege, individual achievement in other areas will be targeted. When success is considered unfair, then being unsuccessful will be called unfair and undeserved. And those of means and ability who reject this burden will be demonized.

Progressives have turned society against conservatives who are successful through business; they claim that the rich have hoarded the profits that they made on the backs of the public. "Spread the wealth around" and "you didn't build that" are designed to convince Americans that the rich are not that way because of hard work or intelligence; it's because they gamed the system, and they should be despised.

The left is now doing the same thing to students who get good grades. The education establishment has begun an attack on homework. Schools have begun issuing "students' bill of rights" which give the students the right to little or no homework. Recently in France it has been proposed that homework be eliminated entirely (so that kids who actually do their homework will not have an advantage over those who don't).

Clearly the goal is not to ensure that all students rise to their potential.

Quite a few members of the Yippies, SDS, Weather Underground, Timothy Leary acid cult, Osama Bin Laden, et al were million (or billion even) dollar trust fund yutes hellbent on taking down Western civilization.

Perhaps the lib’s dislike of the rich is based on the fact that the vast majority of libs who are wealthy didn’t earn it, couldn’t earn it, and are well aware of the fact that they are talentless dolts who’d be digging ditches were it not for their (probably felonious) parents.

And then there are the libs who just boinked their way into becoming a congress-critter...the Pelosi-wench, the Boxer-wench, the Feinstein-wench...the Kerry-O-gigolo...etc...etc.

All of them hate folks with talent and ability - which is why they hate conservatives.

Since before the time of Lenin, society’s Marxist rejects have targeted a variety of groups for the bile of the proles in order to bring the lower classes and socially disenfranchised into line with the purpose of tyrants, which is to overthrow society and assume a position of leadership.

Then, of course, the proles, being no longer of any value, are once again relegated to the lowest rung of the ladder, while the commissars dine out at their places of privilege.

I can tell you about my granddaughter and it hasn’t always been kids. She is beautiful, a naturaln athlete and an A student. You can’t believe the people who dislike her on sight.

Her motherhas always told her to “Kill them with kindness” and because she is ahappy, outgoing person it has worked for the most part but you can’t believe how many teachers were the worst offenders. Her mother made her tough it out because she figured she’d have to deal with it all her life so she might as well learn while she’s young.
