Rove Declares War on Tea Party
Coyboy Byte ^ | February 4, 2012 | Staff

The battle for the heart and soul of the Republican Party has begun. On one side is the Tea Party. On the other side stand Karl Rove and his establishment team, posing as tacticians while quietly undermining conservatism.

Yesterday, the New York Times reported that the “biggest donors in the Republican Party” have joined forces with Karl Rove and Steven J. Law, president of American Crossroads, to create the Conservative Victory Project. The Times reports that this new group will dedicate itself to “recruit seasoned candidates and protect Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts who Republican leaders worry could complicate the party’s effort to win control of the Senate.” The group points to candidates like Christine O’Donnell in Delaware and Richard Mourdock in Indiana as examples of Tea Party primary picks going sideways in major Senatorial battles.

Sorry, by “debacle” I originally meant the scandal that was the quote itself, not the whole campaign. So when you said it was about more than the one quote, I was interpreting you to be saying the furore over the quote was about the issues behind the quote. You know, abortion, etc. But you were talking about everything else contributing to his defeat, which is another issue.

"This was Senator Jim Demint’s organization. The PAC was very effective IMO for the money spent."

Our goal is to enact policies that will restore America’s greatness. Therefore, we only support candidates who have the courage to:

There’s mainstream media and RINOstream media out there.

El Rushbo and Fox News will do their thing, finding emotional wedges in the Rove tradition to try to keep us hooked on.

Maybe other talk show hosts will lend their support but I wouldn’t count on it.

Here online and in local authentic (not RINO fronted) Tea Party meetings we will have to consolidate our support behind authentic conservative candidates.

Principles must matter more than personalities or egos and that means two conservative candidates for every race.

One for the Republican primary and another for the general election as a third party if the RINO wins the GOP race.

There must be a real genuine conservatives running in every primary and general election.

Rove’s so called brilliance was on display last election and he failed miserably. So for his next bright idea he plans on running off the base of the party? Karl, just who do you plan on voting for your guys? Dems aren’t going to vote for liberal lite and the base you plan on running off aren’t going to vote for liberals period. Time to boycott Rove and his hand picked cronies.

on one side is the eltiist establishment who never mention social conservative issues, want the homosexual because they have met many pals at their elitist cocktail parites up in the north east and DC and who think they are better than the average working guy and gal.

The other side are us, the working class, want common sense to be brought back, understand the family that thing the left has been attacking since the 20’s was the backbone of this country, want boys to be men and girls to be women and then get married and have kid with both parents.
Thinks hard work is a noble thing and want America to be working and strong again.

I know what side I;m on but Rove and them elitist turds ae on the other side, they gave us two losers and have shown they can fight our own, Sarah, Angel, Col Allen West , Newt etc very hard whilst never fighting the left and never hardly ever mentioning this clown we have right now in our white house

I suwed to watch Hannity but then I woke up and understood the man is no conservative.

Ask yourself this, when was the last time he spoke about conservative social issues?
Has he ever defended marriage, talked about the boycoots the homostpo does, does he ever show video’s on his show about how their freak parades make fun of conservatives and religious figures?

The man is a fraud and an elitist establishment type talking head , he likes his pals Beckel, Colmes etc and never wants to upset them plus the man has no balls but harp on about his two all weeks as a blue collar worker decades ago.

Not a great fan of Beck but at least he could go after the left and make it public how the left works and calls them out, Hannity plays it safe and talks about debt, taxes , oh just like the establishment does, what a coincidence, not

From what I can tell, "the biggest donors in the Republican Party" are also "the biggest donors in the Democratic Party."

the establishment still does not get it, even after this last defeat though most was fraud.

If they can not get back to being conservative , defend things like marriage, family, children away from perverts, as well as their fiscal issues then they will lose again in another two years.

We had good conservatives and the GOP attacks them whilst the left sits back, the GOP are the stupid party because they only surround themselves with like minded elitist turds and then come calling us when they need our votes and then they think we’re too stupid to see what the hell is going on.

Piss off Rove and all your DC elitist pro homo, cowardly establishment types,

How many hundreds of millions did Rove waste losing in November? Why would anybody give this guy any more money?

Todd Akin, a six term incumbent, as a tea party outisder

Todd Akin was NOT supported by the Tea Party in the primary.

John Bruner and Sara Steelman got the Tea support.

It was McCaskle and the democrats who supported and voted for Adkin.

Both groups should work together starting now...IMHO. Thoughts?

Thoughts?

1. Crossroads needs to fire Rove. He's worthless.
2. Tea Party groups need to be careful in who they hire as consultants.
3. All sides need to recruit candidates who don't put their foot in their mouth.

One of my good friends who is now the Chair of a mid-size county GOP calls Rove “Super Genius” sarcastically in the Wile E Coyote sense. He doesn’t have much use for him either. He’s a strong conservative but has some strong establishment ties too. Rove’s ticked off a lot of people.

Foot in mouth disease occurs on all sides. George Allen was another one. He wasn’t tea party. Akin wasn’t tea party. Mourdock and Angle were.

Bears repeating. As a friend of mine high up in the GOP establishment says, he's a genius in the sense that Wile E Coyote is a genius.
