I wish you were kidding, but stupidity is so common in our comfortable consumer society, that I believe you.
But I have known quite a few liberal Christians who think that way. They point to ancient martyrs who died rather than fight the power of Rome or renounce their faith and compare that to dying at the hands of one criminal. They seem to think that dying for Christ is equivalent to dying because some psycho thinks he’s a god.

The elitist slobs in our government want us to cower in fear hoping the killer runs out of bullets or kills himself before killing us. They push this agenda while they are protected by armed security. I want to see them give up their armed security and see how it works out for them.
