The idea of roaming bands of zombies looking for someone to support them is probably unrealistic. They will stay in the urban areas and kill each other wholesale....like they do now. By the time the food runs out, the gas will be gone.

One of my favorite survival stories involves a guy who found a Home Depot largely untouched. He grabbed a rototiller and seeds but noticed the vending machines had been sacked.

As we have seen in NY after storm Sandy, unless rich, most urban area people don’t have cars and can’t get out. They also don’t prepare with supplies and thinking ahead of time for a disaster with independence in mind.

The gang thugs will be the most dangerous until Obama gets the military in place, but their ammo won’t last long and smarter gangs will form to deal with their “wilding” strategy. They will be telling one sided victim stories galore in the aftermath.
