President Obama will give a live interview to CBS before it airs the Super Bowl on Sunday. At 4:30 pm, Obama will field questions from CBS´s Scott Pelley, continuing a long-standing tradition of providing interviews to the network airing the NFL championship, usually the most-watched television event of the year. Last year, Obama spoke with Matt Lauer before NBC broadcast the big game. Pelley told The New Orleans Times-Picayune that he will talk pigskin with the president, but also has a range of "serious questions" to tackle.

They tried to elbow their way into NASCAR, but the crowds would boo them out of the venue. But they can somewhat control the negative response at the super bowl. I take offense to it being turned into a political event.

I just witnessed this PAID political announcement for the Dems. DISGUSTING. All GOP fault. SICK, just SICK.
And I called our local CBS Milwaukee 58 and the gal in the newsroom, when asked if they were getting other calls she blasted “ABSOLUTELY NOT”. I said well you will. I told her I tuned in to see football, not a paid political announcement for the Democrat Party. SHAME on them... I told her shame on them.
