Rove Declares War on Tea Party
Big Government ^ | February 3, 2013 | Ben Shapiro

The battle for the heart and soul of the Republican Party has begun. On one side is the Tea Party. On the other side stands Karl Rove and his establishment team, posing as tacticians while quietly undermining conservatism.

Yesterday, the New York Times reported that the “biggest donors in the Republican Party” have joined forces with Karl Rove and Steven J. Law, president of American Crossroads, to create the Conservative Victory Project. The Times reports that this new group will dedicate itself to “recruit seasoned candidates and protect Senate incumbents from challenges by far-right conservatives and Tea Party enthusiasts who Republican leaders worry could complicate the party’s effort to win control of the Senate.” The group points to candidates like Christine O’Donnell in Delaware and Richard Mourdock in Indiana as examples of Tea Party primary picks going sideways in major Senatorial battles.

***FR and the tea party must rise up against these establishment RINOS!!***

Right now the country's producers / earners are totally unrepresented in Washington. The prevailing view amongst the ruling oligarchic elite is that all money in the US economy belongs to them, and that money which people use for themselves is only due to the benign tolerance of our rulers.

With the appointment of a traitor - John Kerry - to the cabinet office of Secretary of State and the nomination of a mental incompetent - Chuck Hagel - to the office of Secretary of Defense, we see the signs of a country in serious decline.

What has brought us to this unbelievable impasse? A man was sent here to run for President and to destroy the greatness of America, and a political party has thrown in their destiny with such a goal. I understand a recent poll shows that 60% of the American people do not know that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land. [educators have done their part to destroy the republic] SCOTUS Justice Scalia has pronounced the Constitution dead... ObamaCare promises to abridge more freedoms that we even knew we possessed.

The fat is in the fire for the producers in this economy; the outcome is balanced on the edge of a knife - and doesn't look very positive for the working class. Marxists have infiltrated many of our traditional institutions and perverted them [the AMA, AARP, NEA - unions, Wall Street... etc.], and we can include the GOP in that list. People like Hagel [and Rove?] are really only in the game to do what they are told and undermine the strength of the people who make this economy operate.

My health is marginal yet I regret that I have lived long enough to see the dissolution of my great country and frustrated that there is little I can do about it. Open borders will bring millions of welfare / food stamp recipients to cripple our weak economy, and many select terrorists to influence our foreign policy with threats.

The answer, IMHO, is to find a group of states that will embrace our original Constitutional foundations and secede from the Union! A combination of Gulf states along with the Carolinas and perhaps Arizona and Alaska could quickly become one of the most powerful countries in the world with a Constitutional Republic and free enterprise.

I can only hope! :-/

Don’t forget that Americans want freedom, prosperity, and a low-cost government

If that is true, then as the elections of 2008 and 2012 demonsrated, As far as the voters go, Americans are in the minority.

You are right about that. A lot of voters appear to have no identification with being a real American—that is, one who understands the match between freedom and responsibility that enable individual pursuit of happiness and the enjoyment of life and liberty.

However, if you ask those same voters, I suspect many if not a majority would claim they want “freedom, prosperity, and a low-cost government.” Many of them want that for themselves but not for other people. Many of them think they are voting for these things but have been fooled by propagandists. Many of them want these things in the abstract but in detail really want a handout and special treatment from government. Many people actually believe the propaganda that the “other side” wants to take these things away from them and end up getting hoodwinked.

Thanks for the post—it was a good one.

Rove won’t be seen praising God on TV, or defending Life or marriage as defined by God, or even seriously defending the constitution or our God-given Liberty. Has no grasp on the founding concept that we are all created equal by our Creator and endowed by HIM with certain unalienable rights, including the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Rove has no understanding that we the people are the sovereigns and that government derives its just powers at our consent. And that it is our heritage, right and duty to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity!!

Reagan said that freedom is never more than one generation from extinction.

Well, Mr. power broker Rove, freedom will not be extinguished on our watch!!

DON’T TREAD ON ME!!

Hear! Hear! Dearest Jim!

Rove's interest is his white board, not our Constitution or God.

He's not the magnificent bastard when it comes to winning elections either.

Took me a while to remember where I had this stashed. Not that I'm fond of Trump, mind you, but I remembered being quite happy to see that he didn't have much use for Rove either, so I saved the below. :)

Rove is the single biggest reason the GOP has had close elections and downright disastrous candidates and campaigns since the year 2000.

He has a worse record than even Dick Morris, who at least has enough common sense to lay low after his 2012 predictions failed so miserably.

He is on Hannity again tonight and I had to leave the room to give my TV a stay of execution.

He can stick his stupid whiteboard where the sun don’t shine.
