Wasn’t that great? Yes sir, “God Made a Farmer”.

Yes it was great! The highlight so far of this year's telecast.

Good on Dodge.

The one downside is that, thanks to the Obama regime and his union goons, Chrysler is now a foreign-owned company. Dismissing that, it was inspirational and reminded me of a better time, the Reagan era when America was truly exceptional, mighty, prosperous and unapologetic.

That commercial may have been to reassure people that Dodge (and Chrysler) are still American, no matter the ownership. If that was their intention, I’d say it worked.

I’d love to find a 3/4 ton pickup with the cummins diesel I could afford. I’ve been keeping watch for one, but I have a feeling I’ll find a suitable Ford before I’ll find a Dodge. No Chevrolets need apply.

At the end of the commercial, everybody in our room said “We are Farmers. Da Da DA da da da da”.

So while it was a cool commercial, I felt bad for Dodge, because we all remembered the insurance company.
