"Yeah, this one reeks."

It sure does. Problems all over the place.

The police seem like a PR firm for the murderer/s.

In the first article - where the police supposedly “debunked” the connection to Breitbart - the police said they were done investigating Cormier’s death until they got a cause of death in the autopsy. They admitted they were not doing any investigating while the evidence and memories of the witnesses were fresh.

If they knew there was way too much arsenic in Cormier’s body (and they did) and knew that Cormier had gone to the hospital because he believed he had been poisoned (which they did) they would have known it was not suicide, they would have known the time of poisoning to within an hour, would have known where he was at during that hour, and would have had just cause to question people and trace this poisoning down to its source. Waiting would cause them to lose those leads.

So what did they do? They gave up the investigation, supposedly in the name of waiting for a cause of death (which was irrelevant at that point).

That’s like having the smoking gun and seeing the one who dropped it running down the street to get away and choosing to go take a bubble bath instead of pursuing them.

Stinks to high, high heaven.
