A former Tarleton State University student who wrote the best-selling book, "American Sniper," was one of two victims shot and killed at Rough Creek Lodge late Saturday afternoon. Chris Kyle and a friend were found dead at Rough Creek's shooting range.

Chris Kyle, known as the “deadliest American sniper ever,” was one of two people killed Saturday night in Glen Rose at Rough Creek Lodge near Glen Rose, several sources confirmed.
Law enforcement authorities were searching for a black four-door Ford pickup covered in Rhino liner and with a skull sticker in the back window.

The man suspected of murdering Kyle and the second individual was apprehended near Lancaster hours after the incident, the Empire-Tribune reported.
The assailant reportedly fled the scene in Kyle’s vehicle, which bore the emblem of his business, Craft International, which provides military and law enforcement training.
This twitter page says the suspects name is Eddie Routh, former Marine, arrested for DWI. Take it with a grain of salt, it’s early yet.
Think of it. A “civil war” is eminent, being pushed by a radical leader to boil and explode. He knows that a good portion of his army will split, and that the most dangerous among them, a sharpshooter, someone who could take out this said radical leader. Would it not be in his best interest to take the sharpshooter down before the civil war broke out?
It’s Chris’ truck. The killer took it.
