Why the HELL do we even need a legislative branch?
Law is now written by executives and judges...not the representatives of the people.
I could understand the mechanism of a wink-n-nod to squatters in such circumstances, but how does he ever expect courts to buy it? And none of the Democrats feeding on this stuff are going to ask how he can do it.
What Difference Does That Make?
My sentiments exactly when I read this.
And it doesn't matter what issue it is - immigration, "healthcare," guns, you name it - the executive office have obviously just decided to skip that tiresome lawmaking phase and go right on to the decree from The Won on high.
My only question is why our legislators are not screaming their collective heads off at being so blithely ignored. If nothing else, it shows us that they are clearly not necessary and shouldn't be getting their paychecks.
