WASHINGTON (AP) - The White House has released a photo of President Barack Obama firing a gun, two days before he heads to Minnesota to discuss gun control.
In a recent interview with The New Republic magazine, Obama said "yes" when asked if he has ever fired a gun. He said "we do skeet shooting all the time," except for his daughters, at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland.

Dumb ass got the damn thing turned backwards.
How can AP copyright a government document they received from government sources? They can’t.
Camp David Skeet Range Layout. (It’s typical half moon skeet club layout)
The little path that looks like a landing strip (uper right) looks like a target shooting area. (No skeet launch there) this is where pic was taken

The skeet area has a wooden fence around it, benches, shooter set up tables ec. Pic below Kennedy at skeet range camp David.
Another pic (notice wooden fence)

I think Obama pic was staged at target range. Just a guess of course! Or Obama shot a clay pigeon crossing the road.
Something’s not right but with Obama, it never is honest.
I thought that might be a muzzle brake, but that’s illegal isn’t it?
Several things are amiss here.
Though it appears to be a break-open over/under, the bottom tube looks odd.
I’ve never seen a port job that is out of the top of the barrel and over/unders I don’t believe are ported(?) since how do you port the lower barrel?
Lastly, is he firing black-powder shells? I’ve never seen smokeless powder put out that much smoke.
Everything this doosh touches turns to crap. And then they wonder why we are skeptical about anything and everything to do with him.
Of course THEY don’t want this photo altered in any way. To do so would ruin their alterations.
From two years ago.
Apparently, those Shotguns come from the factory ported.
Actually the Browning is a considered a bargain for clay sports, Caesar Guerini, Perazzi and Krieghoff are the more popular and the more expensive guns, some models can go for > $17,000, but price won’t help you shoot any better. The gun must “fit” you.
So the White House says not to photoshop the image and this thread has almost no photoshopped images? What is wrong with Freepers? (I’d do it except I don’t have any photoshop type software).
More like a muzzie brake.
He IS one hole, and I think y'all can guess which one!
I expected to see a Perazzi, Krieghoff, or Kolar :-)
Correct....If the gun don’t fit, you won’t hit!
Well, I looked at what Browning had for their latest model like that....Citori 725....they start around $4,999....you might be Daddy Warbucks but I’m not.
There’s a Barrett for around that price (or was) that I’d rather have.
You got that right!
I’m sure that’s just AP boilerplate they use as a signature or add-on to their articles. You can’t expect a journalist to be competent, can you? I mean actually review their whole document and ensure that it’s current, applicable and all that?
You forgot the pic of obama riding his bicycle like a girly girl.
