The liberal media long ago forfeited their respected role as watchdog over the government and have voluntary descended to the status of a public relations arm of the Democratic Party and various liberal causes.
It doesn't do it justice to call them cheerleaders, for they are active participants, every bit as much involved in bringing about the events as the party with which they collude.
They no longer merely report the news. They deliberately influence it to advance the liberal political agenda. So while they engage in plenty of deceptions on the micro level, they daily engage in a category of sin that far exceeds the despicable doctoring of videos.
For what they're about is grand deception on a macro scale. They aren't watchdogs, and they aren't just cheerleaders. Cheerleaders wear uniforms and are readily recognizable. These progressive media mavens are cloaked in a disguise of pseudo-neutrality and pseudo-objectivity, such that when they root for the political team that is assaulting America's founding principles and driving us headfirst into national ruin, many in their unwitting audience have no earthly idea they've got skin in the game.
The liberal media's fraud is so pervasive that by presenting the news through a distorted, progressive prism, they've created an alternate reality that bears little relationship to actual reality. What has emerged is a new normal, foisted on us by a cluster of malicious manipulators who long ago abandoned their honor and their professional calling.
This manufactured pseudo-universe is what allowed President Barack Obama to win re-election despite presiding over (and largely causing) the longest period of high unemployment since World War II and the worst recovery in 50 years. It's what enables him to enjoy a 60 percent approval rating despite being conspicuously radical, hyper-partisan, consciously divisive and dogmatically uncompromising.
Just ask yourself whether Obama could have won if the media had reported on his economy objectively and let the facts speak for themselves. But they did much worse; they apologized for him and his failures every step of the way, shamelessly conspiring with him to scapegoat his predecessor, President George W. Bush, even four years after his term ended. This was as immoral as it was preposterous, but they did it with such faux earnestness that those who rely on them for their news lapped it up and digested its poisonous seed.
These are media that appointed themselves the chief prosecutors against Bush for his alleged mishandling of the federal cleanup operation in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. They were on that story 24/7 from the outset, not to apprise the public of the conditions in New Orleans and other stricken locations but to cause premeditated political damage to President Bush. Contrast that with their orchestrated cover-up of the Obama administration's selective negligence for some of Hurricane Sandy's victims and affected areas.
This is a press whose superstars, with exceptions, insinuated themselves into moderating the presidential debates and actively interceded on behalf of President Obama, both in their questions and in their improper injections.
These are the "professionals" whose job is to hold our governing class to account with legitimate, pointed questions and follow-ups. Instead, they offer French kisses and free passes, despite the smorgasbord of corruption, scandal, mismanagement and policy failures that would be a welcome feast for journalists with a modicum of integrity.
Whereas they aided Democrats in constructing false scandals against the Bush administration, they wholly ignore very real ones under Obama, from the dismissal of the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case to "Fast and Furious" to Benghazi.
From the corruption and waste in the president's stimulus plan to myriad green energy schemes to the fraudulent calculation of projected Obamacare costs to their protective reporting on the administration's handling of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the media have done this president's bidding.
Worst of all, Obama's media cohorts are helping him get away with not addressing the major culprit in our impending national financial catastrophe, entitlement spending. If it were not for the media's complicity, we could avert this imminent national calamity, but they simply will not perform even their rudimentary duties so as to expose this president as the uncompromising spendaholic ideologue he is.
So while we justifiably complain about doctored videotapes, let's not miss the larger point: that if this nation goes over a Greek-style financial cliff, we need look no further than President Obama's comrades in the institutionally corrupt media, without whom his destructive path could be deterred.
I sent a letter to LOCAL NBC station that said, “Due to the constant attempts by the National NBC News organizations to edit videos, full of errors and publish them as facts, dating back to Volvo, followed by Zimmerman and now Sandy Hook, I have chosen to avoid your station 100%.” The only way to stop the national crap is to make local stations feel the pain of lost revenue.

It’s even worse than Limbaugh is willing to say. The media - conservative and liberal alike - is being told by George Soros what they can and can’t say.
It started with Obama’s eligibility problem that the on-air personalities were threatened with destroyed careers and possible death if they reported on. This is confirmed by law enforcement.
And it’s just sort of gone from there. They are allowed to report the piddles/distracting issues that hypnotize conservatives and liberals to sleep, but the stuff that really matters - exposure of the coup taking place in our country - is not allowed to be reported.
That’s what Glenn Beck found out. He dutifully ignored and then mocked the “birthers” as he was successively told to do, but when he chose to expose the root problem that had allowed the threats over the eligibility issue (Soros’ communist-Islamist alliance) his secretary was threatened daily to such an extent (while being denied any protection by Fox) that Beck felt morally obliged to leave Fox just to keep from jeopardizing her life.
When the threats were made to the on-air personalities at CNN (IIRC), the response was that this censorship would be a bad thing if it was Bush, but because it came from Soros to protect Obama it must be for the country’s own good. If they hadn’t been threatened those useful idiots would have volunteered to self-censor. This is the reason we despise those people.
But the threats were made also to people like the head of Clear Channel, which distributes the radio show by this author’s brother, Rush Limbaugh. Rush also received a package that alluded to 2 famous assassinations on the same day as Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s press conference announcing the initiation of a criminal investigation of fraud and forgery of Obama’s long-form birth certificate. The same day as Andrew Breitbart (an independent media voice who had been waiting for good evidence of forgery before he would report on this issue and had less than 5 hours earlier told Sheriff Joe that Joe’s evidence was good) fell over dead in a death where the coroner never even checked for signs of the most probable methods of assassination. The coroner was aware that there were no prescription drugs in Breitbart’s body and that Breitbart had not seen a doctor within the past year - contrary to claims made by terrified colleagues who said he had had a massive heart attack that had hospitalized him 6 months earlier.
As long as Soros is able to threaten the media he has power over all of Washington DC, and America as we have known her exists no more. All we’re doing is scrapping over the carcass, at this point. Unless and until the CONSERVATIVE media addresses the elephant in the room - Soros’ communist-Islamist alliance and whatever threat they are holding over our entire system - everything we see is just superficial theatrics.
That’s what America needs to realize.
We spend far too much time griping about Obama and liberal politicians, and far too little time taking assertive actions against the wire services, the network wires, and the wires of the big print vehicles.
I believe that the most constructive tactic is to confront personally the editors of LOCAL media outlets which run the wire feeds. These individuals, as their persons, should be ridiculed and humiliated on the basis of their lack of journalistic competence or outright knowing journalistic fraud.
These men and women live in our towns. They operate the local radio stations, local newspapers, and local television outlets. We see them personally in the store and at community events.
Each of us can choose this or that wire story run from the local outlet, pick it apart on its facts and analysis, and confront the local news editor who runs this on his broadcast or in his paper. Are their not 100 conservative individuals for each of several medial outlets in all communities in all 50 states?
We can shut down the Associated Press by humiliating 1000 local news editors who choose to carry the AP’s manufactured news.
Until we do so, our neighbors will continue electing one Obama after another.
The MSM have shown themselves to be not only cheerleaders for Obama, but willing tools of the White House Ministry of Propaganda. With few exceptions the media in the US is now as government controlled as in most communist nations.
I have a ROKU box to watch Fox News specific stories and Movies - no cable or sat — I get my news over the Internet - can watch FOX news live on Baqi TV - and do not subject my family to propaganda TV commercials...for now anyways...

Watched the Olympics over the BBC site right to my TV - bypassing NBC totally!!! No commercials!

Maybe I gave up too soon, but time was limited so I had to prioritize my time.
In theory it’s a great idea. To make any ridicule stick it has to be done through avenues other than the media itself, though, because they won’t let the criticism be shown to the public.
But letters and calls to the editors could at least help wear them down, which is the tactic the left has been doing on patriots for decades. A dose of their own medicine might be beneficial for all of us.

Let’s not forget “Reverend” Al Tawana Brawley Sharpton leading protest marches and giving speeches for Trayvon Martin then reporting about it on MSNBC.
Yeah. It’ll take me a while to look them up because my computer’s been trashed several times and I don’t remember how to unzip and import my email files into Outlook Express so I can see them and retrieve my notes to myself.
Doug Hagmann had a report on this. I informed Cold Case Posse commander Mike Zullo about it so he checked it out and confirmed to me that the threats happened and the secretary I was worried about had fled the country in fear for her life. Zullo also talked about this in some public interviews.
I also have a military source with deep connections who says that Bush was aware of these threats and encouraged the media heads to obey Soros.

The whole idea of threats against people who would challenge or even bring up Obama’s eligibility is reinforced by the claims of the Hillary supporters. 2008 was literally a coup. I have insider information that the reason Hagmann went quiet on his story of the media threats is because one of his informants was killed and he wanted to protect a particularly vulnerable informant (which is the one I asked Zullo about, which fled the country in fear after all). Hagmann did allow another investigator/reporter to look at his evidence with the condition that no confidentiality was to be violated through public reporting. That colleague reported on Glenn Beck leaving Fox because of threats. I think that’s in the links I gave on one of the FR posts; if not I can look it up for you, let me know.
