Hagel Hearing: Scarborough So Contemptuous Of Ted Cruz, Won't Mention Him By Name

Sure, Chuck Hagel might have been a bumbling, stumbling mess at his confirmation hearing yesterday. But the real story was how awful were the Republicans who questioned him. That was the collective judgment of today's Morning Joe panel.
For example, so contemptuous was Joe Scarborough of Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, that the Morning Joe host announced that he would not even mention him by name. "Clown show" was the panel's operative phrase for the Republican performance. Andrea Mitchell, Mika Brzezinski, Mike Barnicle et al. joined in the Republican roasting.

“Senator Cruz is NOT on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and actually voted against Kerry.”
Thank you for your correction to Cletus. He is obviously one of the “low information voters” that Rush talks about.

Wait until the Birthers here about your idea.. I like Cruz and I hope he runs..

Kerry was a shoe-in. Duh.
He has more money than . . . well, anyone. The position was purchased. We don’t have to like this but it’s what we have. Kerry is a disgrace, no doubt.
Plus, who else is OB oging to put at State? Someone with morals? Patriotism?
But this Hagel guy.
Did you see the video?
I’ve spoken with men more alert and coherent at one in the morning in a downtown bar.

What's the matter Joe. Does Ted Cruz remind you of yourself before you sold your soul to MSDNC?

I saw it. Cruz was uber-prepared and brilliant.
2016 calls...
Agree. We will need someone like him , when Mr. Krispy Creme ( Christie) makes
his run either as a Rep or Dem.

"The conservative movement is going to have to get very smart and very creative to overcome the media situation"
You do not need to be very smart to figure ridicule is a potent weapon to counter other ridicule. The key is putting your opponent in a defensive posture.
Since rabid collectivist can't stand facts, they resort to belittling the opponent. To get the argument back on tract, you *dominate* (Take no quarter and be violently bombastic) your opponent using the same tactics, but with subtle facts thrown in the mix.
"Scarborough and the rest of the Democrat groupies at MSNBC have a perpetual case of butthurt because their totalitarian heroes, who they wish to live through and control human behavior hence the butthurt, keep tripping over their own hypocrisies during these hearings."

The reason Ted Cruz scares the liberals, unlike some of our more recent champions, is that he is extremely intelligent. He is the quintessential smartest guy in the room. He has the facts and figures at his fingertips, and can articulate them in a clear and persuasive manner. He hasn't been in the Senate a month and he has already made his mark.

Joe Scarborough is a far-left liberal weenie. Who cares what this barking moonbat has to say? He can call himself a Conservative all he wants. Doesn’t make it so.

It’s what we have at the moment.
Anyway, I don’t even know where Cruz is on the SOS issue. He may have voted against him after all.

Ted would make an excellent choice for 2016. He's an experienced debater, smart as a whip and, apparently (until the bizarro birthers chime in about his name) passes all tests for presidential candidacy.

They’ll leave him out to dry. You are correct. They’ll hear from us on this. They’ll have to admit they’re on the other side. We’ll have to admit it, too. It’ll be a case of be careful what you wish for. We’re going to have to have a spine to face the force that helps OB and his crew the most- the establishment GOP.
