I'll respect you if you'll do likewise for me. So I kindly ask that you use a term other than "gay" to describe those who are this sort of sexual deviant. I'm 70 and recall a better era when "Deck the Halls" could be sung without a snicker with the lyrics, "don we now our gay apparel". I'd like to see the word "gay" restored to its rightful meaning before it was sullied by the homosexual lobby.
That said, it is mostly to satisfy to my curiosity since there are conflicting narratives about George Washington Carver. And, as I've stated elsewhere in this thread, with "Black History Month" approaching, I'd simply like to know if an individual portrayed as a hero was actually a sodomite.
I'll confess that I take a harder line than many (even some here on FR) regarding this issue. Even if one is discreet about the practice, it's still an abomination in the eyes of Almighty God. And I think if Carver were a deviant, he could have sought redemption from Christ, repented and changed his lifestyle. My hope is that he was merely eccentric or an "odd duck" as we used to say.
In closing, I thank you for your thought-provoking response and I hope that, with my candor, I've provided an explanation.
what we need is more laws to stop lawbreakers from breaking the current laws. Only by passing more restrictive laws and creating a more burdensome environment for law abiding citizens will criminals think twice about breaking the additional new laws that will not add anything to their sentences and be used as a bargaining chip by the defense to get lighter sentencing.
Wiki (I know) says he had a woman around 40.
Don’t underestimate the desire of homos and their apologists to turn every single famous man into 1 of them, for normalcy and acceptance.
Give the man a break, he was elder. He may not’ve wanted marriage but wanted companionship in his elder years. He may’ve been a confirmed bachelor. My uncle was after his jilting by a woman he was crazy about. He was not gay, although he always lived alone, dying at age 88 by himself. Damned good conservative. Anyway I think it’s possible men can
be good pals who live together.
Thanks for your response. i appreciate your honesty and I respect your opinion on the matter.
