Few are the men and women in American public life who haven't heard Mr. Dooley's famous aphorism: "Politics ain't beanbag." John Boehner, currently serving out his community service as speaker of the House, appears to have been meditating on Mr. Dooley's cautionary wisdom. At the Ripon Society last week he said the Obama administration was trying "to annihilate the Republican Party."

Well written synopsis of what we're up against: A leftist who never left his college tactics behind. This should be required weekly reading.

So what does it say about the GOP that they are about to be taken out at the kneecaps by college boy tactics that most of us give up on by the end of Junior year?

This is brass knuckles Chicago style politics with a Marxist twist. Obama wants one party rule and no opposition of any kind. He already has the MSM slavishly following their orders from the White House, is rapidly negating the Second Amendment and securing 11 million new Democrat voters when he gives the illegals amnesty and citizenship. All he has left is to silence talk radio and Fox News and control the Internet and he can make himself dictator. Note how Obama is already targeting Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

I expect the progressives to try to annihilate the republicans. I even expect the media to help. What kills me is when the republicans destroy themselves by being so spineless they become the, “lite” lo cal, less filling version of the liberals.
Principles matter and I rarely feel the republicans are fully espousing conservative values.

Speaking last Saturday, Rep. Paul Ryan said that for Barack Obama to achieve his goals, "he needs to delegitimize the Republican Party."

The Republicans are way ahead of him on this task.

the Obama administration was trying "to annihilate the Republican Party."

The strategist, the brain trust behind this is Axelrod. He fashioned the last two campaigns and knows that Obama cannot run on his record so that he must DESTROY any opposition, party, person or idea. That is the plan and if successful will allow Obama and/or someone similar in belief to take over control of the U.S. Government. Unthinking liberals living in their perpetual fantasy world will support it 100 percent.

The strategist, the brain trust behind this is Axelrod.

Perhaps, Axelrod is the COO of the effort.

But I would hazard a guess that his Chairman-of-the-Radical-Board is William Ayers.
