Seriously? She makes it sound like her daughter confronted the gunner. Maybe so, but without a gun or other weapon and a decent chance to stop the gunner, that sounds more foolish than courageous. There’s nothing courageous about getting shot down while trying to hide or flee.
Also, why is a victim’s mother suddenly qualified to set policy for an entire nation of 300+ million people. Are we going to survey all of parents and make our decision based that? What if I find one of the parents not only wants the NRA to teach classes in the schools but thinks all teachers should be armed? Should we do that? Ridiculous!
