Teen girl who performed at Obama inauguration killed in Chicago shooting

A teenage girl who attended presidential inauguration activities in Washington earlier this month was shot to death at a Chicago park.

Police say 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton was shot in the back Tuesday and later died at University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. An unidentified boy was shot in the leg and is being treated at the hospital. No arrests have been made.

Hadiya was a majorette with the King College Prep High School band, which performed at several inaugural events. CBS Chicago affiliate WBBM-TV reports she was also an honor student and volleyball player.

Obama is a big fat liar over caring about illegal gun violence if he does not denounce the radical Left’s racist black thug culture which is robbing hope, life and opportunity from young people in the cities. Gangsters are losers and the lifestyle is dishonorable and deadend. The illegal traffic in guns within Black areas of the cities is not acceptable.

I read the article and you are wrong. She was at a park. There were gang members there. She took shelter under an awning. So did some gang members.

There is no police report that she was hanging around with gang members.

Here is a police statement to the contrary:

Police have said neither Hadiya nor the people she was with were in a gang, but it is believed the shooter mistook someone in the crowd for a rival gang member, and shot at them.

And earlier on in the reports:

Police said Hadiya had no gang affiliation and likely wasn’t the intended target. Several of the teens with her at the time, however, were believed to be gang members.

Teens with her taking shelter under the awning. That does not mean she was hanging out with them.
