Between the DHS contract and 0bama’s gun control agenda,
gun and ammo manufacturers are doing land office business.
Hey, lefties, let me ask you a question-
do you think people are buying all this hardware and ammo to sheepishly hand it over when your representatives and agents of the government tell us to turn it in?
So are Bloomberg and Christie going to come out with anti-price gouging edicts on ammo?
This has been going on in central and the Hill country of Texas for several months now.
The limits on how much you can purchase has only been happening for a couple of weeks. Before that it was get to the store before they open and wait in line.
My son-in-law purchased a 9mm last week and the store didn’t even have one box of ammo to sell him.
Credit where credit is due - whatever else he may or may not achieve, Obama’s place in history is secure as the Greatest Firearms Salesman in the history of Planet Earth.
Most? I'm darned curious what the other folks think is fueling the apocolyptic ammunition sales. Did all of the urban youths just take up skeet shooting?
Shouda stocked up on ammo whenever you bought a new caliber so you don’t have to worry about shortages today.
Yes!
I will be a good citizen.
I will turn in my ammo when they come to take it.
I will remove the bullet and the powder and primer will be destroyed at the same time.
I will be a good citizen.
Why does it take “between 800 and 1200 rounds to get certified on a police rifle”?
How many should it take?
I was at Carter’s Treaschwig store yesterday to pick up a varmint call and noticed they are out of most reloading components. Ditto Bass Pro and Gander.
The new normal. “If” this gun control stuff fades again without changes people will remember and buy and stock up on ammo. The gun range will be quieter, people will carefully train, and it will be years and years before we would see shelves full again if ever. As for gun and ammo companies, they will be hiring like crazy, along with importers.
I rekkin’ you have a device that effectively removes the bullet and powder and destroys the primer...
I am thinking of finally getting a .17MHR gun, since that’s the only ammo in stock anywhere.
As many as it takes to kill the dog.
HMR
Okay, what are the best stock plays for this time in our nation’s history. What company’s have the best exposure to the ammo market might be moving and continue to move?
I would tell everyone about my ‘secret’ suppliers but, we already have plenty of buyers across the spectrum.
Most police departments used to reload training rounds. For some reason they gave it up and buy it fresh from the factory. They should be able to start doing that again without any problem.
What is wrong with these people? Do they know nothing about their tools?
