Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions on Tuesday demanded the resignation of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) director John Morton.
“Last year, I joined with my colleagues at a press conference with the top representatives of the nation’s rank-and-file immigration law enforcement officers,” Sessions said on Tuesday. “The president with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office and the Border Patrol. Those associations or unions elected to serve as the voice of their fellow officers gave a chilling report at that press conference right over in the Senate building with several other senators. They gave a chilling report about the administration’s systemic effort to... dismantle the enforcement of our immigration laws. At the center of this misconduct is John Morton, the director of ICE.”
The evidence that I am about to share with you leads me to the unfortunate conclusion that Mr. Morton can no longer effectively serve at this post, and perhaps more importantly there can be no comprehensive immigration reform as long as he’s the person in charge with enforcing it,” Sessions said on the Senate floor. "What purpose is served to pass new laws if the ones we have are ignored by the officials charged with enforcing them?”

He needs to be announcing Articles of Impeachment against The One who is actually driving this.
This is endemic for Hussein Obama's regime from top to bottom. From the president himself, his entire cabinet to the better known incompetent Justice Department, EPA, NLRB, all the way down to the most obscure bureaucratic functionaries doing what only they know. Remember the foreign holidays paid for by the taxpayers where all they did was party and create humorous videos?
In a sane world, serious jail time is awaiting thousands of Obama bureaucrats.

I totally concur with your statement! Jeff Sessions is my Senator; he has some gumption! However, he needs to pursue this fiasco-of-usurper-in-chief with all due diligence!

There is NO WAY we will be able to confidently know that the border has been secured under Obama, which is what the Gang of 6 or 8, or however many, says is the key to their amnesty plan.
Alabama gives me Senator Envy.
Sessions is a stud duck and Alabama should be proud of him. Most Hoosiers feel the same way about Pence. The good guys are out there.
The problem is the worst, Obama & Co., are “filled with passionate intensity.” We’re going to win out. There’s no doubt IMHO.
But things are going to get a lot worse before we take the country back.
