Sarah Palin's break up with Fox News should not have been, well, breaking news, as she had publicly complained in August on Facebook that the network had canceled her appearances at the Republican National Convention. And going back even further, Palin didn't give Fox the scoop in October 2011 when she announced she wasn't going to run for president. Still, the news of the Fox split overtook Twitter and the news cycle by storm.
One thing I've learned in my years covering Palin, which began on Aug. 29, 2008, when Sen. John McCain stunned the country by selecting her as his running mate: Everyone has an opinion on whatever she does, and she can get clicks and coverage like no one else.
The prevailing theory now is that since Palin no longer has a megaphone like Fox News through which she can blast her opinions, her moment is now officially over.
The 'Ends' of Sarah Palin
It might be true, but there have been so many "ends of Sarah Palin" that it's almost too hard to keep track of them all. She was over when she lost the 2008 campaign, she was over when she quit the Alaska governorship, she was over when she decided to do a reality show, she was over when she decided not to run for president, and now again, she's over because her appearances on Fox News are over...

She ran on a ticket with John McCain, why aren’t you blaming her for his amnesty efforts?

Well, now that you mention it... she never did speak out against McAmnesty either, did she?
Good point... I guess we know where her heart really lies.
The Begich (D-AK) seat is up in 2014. It has Sarah's name all over it.
Sometimes, if the road forward isn't clear, its time to go home and wait until it is.
sarah needs to head a real movement within the GOP—The Liberty Club. Not a party, but a group to remind Republicans who they are and why they were elected. She needs to help set a new core of Conservatism as Goldwater did long ago. If there was no Goldwater there would never have been a Reagan. Maybe move to Arizona and run for Senate or Congress. We need her out there in Government—a “Fifth Column” within the beast to find its weak spots and kill it!
Sarah will survive I’m sure and do well in whatever endeavors she chooses. I just don’t think it will be in elective politics. You don’t preach to political groups and win them over. JMO.
I am not a fan of Sarah Palin. Yes, I did use the terms “deluded followers.” A delusion is a misinterpretation of an outside event; i.e. a person thinks rustling leaves are voices talking to him. Well I believe she found out which words make her lots of money so she gives those words to people who think she in a true believer. Her listeners are deluded, not crazy but deluded. She is todays Elmer Gantry and the folks who follow her are nice simple believers. Sorry! Your ight I should stay away from threads about her.
Isn’t it funny how idiots post on threads about her how irrelevant and obscure she is? Really?
I love Palin just because it makes libtards’ heads explode.
Keep it up Sarah.
I wish it was true but I think the libs know that as much as the media worked to re-elect Obama they will work ten times as hard to prevent Palin from being elected and like it or not the MSM can make a huge difference. I don't think they are scared of her. I think they see her as a light-weight at best.
If I were Sarah I’d set up a tax exempt group that provides scholarships for low information high school graduates to attend colleges like Hillsdale or Liberty. We need someone to lead the way back to conservative Constitutional principles.
First the libheads would explode because she is helping the poverty class and second that selected students would be going to conservative colleges. I can see liberal guidance counselors grimacing as they hand over the entry forms for the Sarah Palin scholarship program.
I hate to say it but Palin needs this kind of public redemption because she has been so viciously and wrongly characterized.
Sarah needs an Act II and just running for a Senate post is not enough. I am sure she is doing good philanthropy, but it needs wider recognition. She needs to find ways to un-demonize herself with the elites and ill-informed.
Sometimes it takes something like this just to show that you CARE as much as I hate to put it in those terms.
OR, she can sign up as a regular on The View or bump Tina Fey on SNL. Even Nixon had to have it socked to him.
