Nikki Y. McNeil, 33, was trying to leave an Ocala residence Saturday evening when Lamark D. Tucker Sr., 36, her ex-boyfriend -- and father of her three children -- took away both McNeils car keys and cell phone, according to a news release from the Marion County Sheriff's Office.
McNeil then used spare keys to leave, but as McNeil pulled away, Lamark jumped onto the hood of the car and held on while continually threatening McNeil as she drove nearly ten miles, the release stated.
McNeil, deputies said, stopped at least twice asking people for help.

More of the story.
***Finally McNeil fired a bullet once through the windshield which struck Tucker, who was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the report.
The children were not in the car; there has been no arrest at this time.***
Good for her.
sounds like a good time to check the brakes and airbag.

Rather a desperate situation before it became a sad one it seems to me.
The story was a little short on “the story”. About those two stops for help, for instance.
it’ll get chalked up in Liberals statistics as another senseless gun homicide.
I was always taught to never rub a belt buckle against a car’s paint job. This taught him.
Assault weapon? No, of course not. But that isn’t important now. Media has another dead scumbag perp they can memorialize. When do they set up the museum?
Not to be confused with a separate incident where a man was clinging only to the hood of a white 4-door vehicle.
Lady we can repair the windshield but you are going to need a whole new boyfriend.
Did she back over him several times after shooting him off the windshield? Be safe - be thorough.
I was told by some joker to never rub another man’s rhubarb.
Hmm...
What about driving to the nearest Sheriff’s office, police department, or Hwy Patrol office?
My only question: Wasn’t there a Police Station in those 10 miles? I realize it isn’t like NYC or Boston, just curious.
Yeah. Good idea, except good luck finding those in Ocala. I know, I live here. There is, or was, a sheriff office on Silver Springs between MLK and 441, but the article doesn't say where in Ocala she was.
And over those ten miles she never saw a police officer and it didn't occur to her to drive to the police station???
McNeil stopped at least twice asking people for help.
Really!!! And while she was stopped those two times what was Lamark doing??? still holding on to the hood of a stopped vehicle??? He didn't get off the hood???
There's gotta be more to this.
Her “boyfriend” with whom she had 3 children.... Now, what could possibly go wrong in such a setup? What is wrong with so many women these days?
That’s gonna leave Lamark.
I’m surprised she didn’t try slamming on the brakes at about 50 mph. If she did and it didn’t dislodge him he must have had amazing finger strength.
