The leader of a national gay-rights group says hes coming outas a friend of Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy.
Ive gotten to know Dan, hes gotten to know me. Hes shared concerns about young people, about Chick-fil-A being used for certain purposes, Shane Windmeyer, executive director of Campus Pride, told ABC News.
SNIP
In July, Equality Matters examined tax forms and found that in 2010 the restaurant chain had donated over $1.9 million to anti-gay causes. In September, the restaurant chain pledged to stop donating to anti-gay groups. Windmeyer says those donations stopped in 2011.

Lets hear it from Dan first. The turd burglars have been caught lying about this stuff before.
I never believed the media. They said he was an evil, anti-gay marriage person. They lied.
“...when they had starting supporting gay marriage 2 years earlier.”

Do you mind translating what you just said into English?
As you wrote it - it appears you are trying to suggest CFA supported gay marriage.
The campaign of demoralization continues.
Don’t listen to his words, believe his actions. He switched sides in the marriage debate in 2010. Like other large corporations, he makes money supporting the gay agenda. He also made money from gullible conservatives. If Chik Fil-A was against gay marriage, why do they act like donating money to pro-marriage groups is the equivalent to donating money to a monument to Hitler.
I find it hilarious that anyone takes an ABC news source, and anti-Christian slant crafters, as the arbiter of truth and accuracy and the last word in the facts.
THAT is the laugh of the day, and so rare on FR.
Haven’t read the details. No matter. You are wrong on this. Over my life there have been, and still are a few people I call friends...some in-laws (LOL)...who are less than desirable, pro abortion, homosexual, or have some other trait that makes them a pariah to conservatives.
There were two gals who moved next to us. Everyone knew they were lesbians. I had known one for several years. Deep down they were good folk. After living next to me...a challange in itself...they changed. If my family and our neighbors had ignored them they would have continued.
There are several other examples...as well as failures.
Just because the CFA CEO is being civil with someone he disagrees with is no reason to condem him or the company of caving to an opposing agenda.
After I get a chance to read the article I may change but at first glance no big thing.
They used to give to anti-gay marriage causes. At the beginning, of 2010 they were still giving. Sometime in 2010, they terminated giving to pro-marriage groups, and started acting if anti-gay marriage groups were radioactive. If CFA, is against gay marriage, why the 180 degree change? How do you explain that. Obviously, when you are giving a lot of money to a cause, then you suddenly stop and announce as much, you no longer believe in this cause. By the way, CFA has put statements on their Facebook pages, bragging that none of their donations goes to " evil" anti-gay-marriage groups. Are they in on the conspiracy? They act as if touching one of these groups is going to give them cooties. Believe what you want, but the simple facts prove that CFA changed their stance on gay marriage long before the kerfluffle in the summer of 2012.
You are missing the point. It’s not that he is nice to someone. I don’t think that anyone would find fault with that. It’s that, long before the media scrutiny would pressure them, CFA stopped donating to the conservative causes. Sometime by January 2011, CFA decided supporting traditional marriage was a terrible thing to be connected with. None of the knee-jerk sugar-coating can cover that up.
First, do no harm. Cathay has no intention of being miliantly cruel to gays. In the image and likeness of God, we were all created and through Him have human dignity. Cathay serves chicky and chips to gays with the same human respect as he would any other customer, and supports charitable actions where gays are actually known to support the same charity also, is more likely the truth.
Cathay has declined to support political agendas that are militantly anti-gay. He does oppose gay behavior and we all know that.
Er, MOST of us know that.
That CEO was laughing all the way to the bank thanks to that silly “Chikfila Appreciation Day” nonsense. He got your money suckers.
I don’t know why you have swallowed the BS lies the media is pumping out almost daily against anti-queer groups like CFA and now the Boy Scouts.
But I’m guessing you are pro-fag and you hate Godly conservative values like Chick-fil-A has consistantly held.
So now you are saying being against gay marriage is, “militantly cruel to gays.” In 2009 he was giving money to those who are, “militantly cruel to gays,” but he had a revelation by 2011 that depriving gays of marriage was wrong, so he stopped. So, Ronald Reagan was , “militantly cruel to gays.” Even President Obama, until May 2012, was, “militantly cruel to gays.” So, Dan Cathy is to the left of where President Obama was a year ago today.
The leader of a national gay-rights group says hes coming outas a friend of Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy.
HE may see himself as a friend. I'm, sure the feeling is NOT mutual.
This homo doesn't get Christianity. Love the sinner but hate the sin. Dan Cathy will be nice to him just because he's a Christian, but the "relationship" would end there.
This homo is just stroking himself, and the MSM is helping him do it. They're trying to destroy the Chicken Franchize in the eyes of the good people who frequent there.
NBC, another minion from the dark side, is "suggesting" the Boy Scouts are also going to go gay. This tells us the MSM is on a destroy mission.
How did CFA “consistently hold” these values when they changed them in 2010? By their own admission. If you want to keep giving to groups that oppose your philosophy, they will keep cheating you out of your money.
Could be. It’s been a bad day...sigh. CFA may have stopped donating/supporting conservative causes but are they actively supporting anti-conservative cause?
I really don’t know. The problem isn’t with one company and it’s policies but how we as conservatives can persuade companies as well as individuals to realize the damage that has been done and is still being done to The Republic.
“He got your money suckers.”

And the problem with that is......?
You act like the CFA victory over the fag boycott was a bad thing?
I’m sure nick (OP) would have been very pleased if the media and the queers had been successful and Chick-fil-A was permanently damaged, but you too?
