I like the part about it being in DC, and when stopped by the NYPD plainclothesman, the reporter asked if he has jurisdiction there and the NYPD officer said he did.

Notice that the NYPD officer said he had “security jurisdiction” which probably means, and I’m guessing, that he had the power to make arrests concerning the physical security of “Mayor” Bloomsperg. Beyond that, he has the same amount of jurisdiction any other NYPD officer in DC has.
