Boehner recently came to the shocking conclusion that the Democrats are going to utterly defeat the Republican Party. Well knock me over with a feather.

Here's a clue Boehner. Remember all those times the Democrats told you to close your eyes and get ready for a big surprise? And every time you did it, they whupped you upside the head with a 2 X 4. Then they and the liberal media howled with laughter and ran away like school kids. But then, that is to be expected from the Dodo bird party. Republicans can neither effectively attack the Democrats, nor can they effective defend themselves. It's history writ large. Predators survive, the weak perish. Bye bye Republicans.

Janet Napolitano is my hero. Yes you read that right. She has requested 7,000 select fire weapons for DHS. She defended her request on the the basis that these are NOT assault weapons; they are personal defense weapons. Well HALLELUJAH! The United States Government has just officially determined that a firearm can be a personal defense weapon, and a "select fire" one at that! So, since it is unlikely that Obama will issue an executive order authorizing the purchase and possession of these "non assault personal defense weapons" by ordinary Americans, I suggest that the Republicans immediately put together the "Janet Napolitano personal defense weapon" Act. It will authorize all law abiding Americans to purchase and possess the "Janet Napolitano select fire personal defense weapon," and it will be exempt from all Federal laws. Oh wait, I assume that the Dodo party would ever fight back on such an issue. I mean, with the President, and Dianne Feinstein running around saying bad things about firearms, why bother?

I’ve got the solution to the football violence/injury problem.

1. Put all players on Michelle Obama diets (what she tells people to eat, not what she actually eats herself) so they weigh a maximum of, oh, 150 pounds.

2. Wrap every player from head to toe in bubble wrap.

3. Forbid them to actually touch each other.
