As a matter of fact, the most “red” state there is is OK.

Interesting quote — and yet, on the subject of slavery, it certainly didn’t require a bloody civil war... just read up on William Wilberforce.

The jury box, well Roberts ruling on Obongocare is foul ball to the left. Roberts may be a jurist, but he's no juror -- like the militia the jury is comprised of the general citizenry.

Good quote, though
this site has it as:
I prefer liberty with danger than peace with slavery. Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Oh my goodness; I remember this little song! Many years ago at our local college Newman Center, a young man with a sense of humor and a very nice voice played this on his guitar and sang it! I’d never heard it before that, nor since. I’d always hoped someone else had heard it and would know who wrote/performed it!

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
