Until there is a fence immigration is a mute point. It is nothing more than campaigning for the Dems.
Pray for America
Exactly, it solved a myriad of problems for the Israelis and I’m sure it would for us as well.Problem is illegal drugs would not flow as easily as they do now.Banks
CIA are all fully invested in drug money.
Not to throw a monkeywrench into the works but:
How do we know that's not how God did it?
How do we know that all the chunks of matter in the universe aren't like a huge 3D bunch of paddleballs, that come back and collide into one big lump, and then heat up and explode again...every few zillion years or so?
Just like a looped film of a single July 4th fireworks aerial display, first running foreward, and then backwards...then forwards again.
Sorry Cboldt, forgot to ping you.
FWIW, physics and devout Christianity aren't mutually exclusive.
I wouldn't say the Genesis version isn't "better," or that the hard science version is "better." I figure they are describing the same events, but with different words.
I think both versions are profound, because they go way beyond our "normal understanding."
I, for one, trust God to have done “it”, no matter how “it” was done.
Yes, but when God gave us brains, did he tell us not to try to figure things out?
Einstein’s Theory of Relativity is a theory. Hiroshima is a fact.
I think the current scientific pursuits of the history of the universe are a little of both. But then again...”relatively speaking”....we’ve only been at it for a couple of seconds so far.
There is a difference between trying to understand God’s creation and trying to disprove God. The commies are trying to make this country Godless and evolution is their foundation.
Pray for America
Tell me he don’t look like a weasel.
No doubt that certainly was His intention - at least as to most of the myriad details. However, of the Big Picture, He left no doubt.
I have always found the numerous books by Henry Morris to be helpful in exploring this from the biblical/scientific perspective. They are all good and cover different subjects. Many years ago after reading his first book, The Genesis Flood, I went from a being a convinced evolutionist to a complete skeptic on the entire theory.
He looks like what he is: a weasel.

I think there’s some merit to the physics of the big bang, but I’m also no fan of “evolution”.
“Survival of the fittest” seems to be pretty valid however.
