God has given us eyes to see and a mind with which to THINK. Truth is eternal but that does not mean man is ready for it yet. Can you imagine Genghis Khan with atom bombs? Our views of God have to change with time . Life is a test and like any good test tempting answers that are WRONG will be among the choices.It is the function of our mind to decide what to keep and what to reject.

Also science is no longer science when it attempts to interpret history. There’s no such thing as historical science. Do you recall the scientific method requiring repeatable experiments?
