Or maybe it was Free Masons, Queen Elizabeth II, or while we’re at it, aliens and not the ones from Mexico. I mean just for the SAKE OF ARGUMENT, of course. If we are going to assume all the possible possibilities for his actions, then why leave anything off the table. Absent facts that rule out any of those, we can conjecture all day long and just make up any stuff as we go along.

As for Lanza “having the signs of it” (molestation), he actually had more the signs of being mentally ill, having a severe personality disorder, which while that does not preclude sexual molestation, many mentally ill persons have not been molested and many if not most people who were sexually molested as children do not become severely mentally ill or violent toward others. They are more likely to suffer from depression, even suicidal thoughts and actions, drug and or alcohol abuse than they are to commit acts of mass murder. If what you perhaps are trying to say about Lanza becoming a mass murderer because he was “possibly” molested by a priest, then one should expect that quite a number of all the kids who were molested by Catholic Priests or other pedophiles would act out similarly. Many of the prepubescent boys that Jerry Sandusky molested will carry the scars of that abuse for the rest of their lives but at least so far, none of them have committed acts of mass murder.
OTOH, my ex husband, after his father died, was molested as a pre-teen by a male family “friend” and yes, it definitely had a negative effect on him, his self esteem and probably contributed to the difficulties in our marriage and to his alcoholism (although he’s been sober for well over years now). But was he violent? No, in fact quite the opposite, he was very passive and hated any form of violence or any type of confrontation. I am very close to a family with three now adult children. The older sibling is bipolar, an IMO a true sociopath and it has recently come to light that she sexually molested her younger siblings when they were children. Her younger siblings, despite the horrific things that happened to them at the hands of their older mentally ill sister, are well adjusted and responsible adults and very loving parents to their own children. The male sibling, while he harbors some understandable anger toward his sister and he along with his younger sister recently chose to cut off all contact with her, is a very successful businessman and a great husband and father, a very decent stand up guy and very conservative BTW.
My point is that you are and some others are promoting pure conjecture and baseless and often debunked conspiracy theories on these threads. Whether you realize it or not, you are actually helping the opposition of Conservative values and of 2nd Amendment Rights by promoting this garbage. By doing so, rather than thinking rationally, you are giving ammunition to the opposition to paint all conservatives as paranoid conspiracy minded wack jobs.
While I understand your mistrust of big government, and I mistrust it too FWIW, the simplest explanation and most plausible explanation was that Lanza and Holmes were both deeply mentally ill persons who acted alone to commit terrible acts, that some in the government would use these rare and anomalous acts to further gun control and other erosions of Constitutional Rights is more along the lines of “Let no good crisis go to waste”, rather than some sort of vast conspiracy involving hundreds if not thousands of people, all working together in some highly complex scheme that defies all logic.
