God's law - the foundation of ALL LAW - needs to be our law once again. That's how the Founding Fathers set things up. But we have strayed from the true course!

I don’t know....not exactly the Apostle Paul in Athens from where I sit. I agree with the author’s point of view, just not sure it rises to “GREAT” letter to editor status. Don’t think it will change a single mind.

Playing the Devil's advocate here:

Liberal: "But you can't legislate moraaaaality. Anyone's morality."

And then Joe Bidumb goes and says that gun control is a moral issue.

And we lost this nation when the Ten Commandments were removed from the town square. God’s Laws front and center reminded us as a society that there is a higher power than man’s self. Without this guidance, society turned to man’s laws or whims. because there is no moral code for foundation, we are corrupt.
God gave us free will.
But I can imagine the total destruction of the Bible as a guide when the Judeo Christian belief will be forced to accept vice as virtue. Religion will be outlawed.

Too late, society is “killing” God again as we speak. “What after all are these churches now if they are not the tombs and sepulchers of God?” (Just check out the US National Cathedral)

Good article and good comments. Just remember to keep the issue where it belongs - in the states. The U.S. Constitution does not allow marriage to be a federal issue.
