We the people have spoken.
Guess they got what they wanted. No scary black guns in Harrisburg!
So no apology, just a bunch of “outliers” causing trouble?
Horseshit !
Should read:
We regret that our gutless cave to the cØmmie bastard was not met with sheepish acceptance by all you flyover rubes.
We obviously prize PC and $ over your Constitution.
You prats were meant to just go along with it, but now you've spoiled all our fun, ya ignorant meanies !
The telling line is:
we felt that the presence of MSRs would distract from the theme of hunting and fishing, disrupting the broader experience of our guests.
MSRs? Oh. Military Style Rifles. You mean “Evil Assault Weapons”? I’m sure that the “few” sponsors out of 1000 pulling out had nothing to do with it. Or the number of customers that decided you are either with us or against us had no impact either. Guessing here that you clowns at reeds haven’t looked on dealers shelves lately. Additionally, according to andy panda cuomo, MSRs are used for hunting. Just not with 30 rd “clips”. Or was it “banana clips”.
Molon labe.
Let’s next get the message to GEICO
Excellent news. Will they refund the vendors, I wonder?
Maybe they shouldn't have made the emotionally charged decision to ban certain rifles from the show.
Complete non-apology weasel wording.
victory lap ping
You Betcha’!
A lot of people worked hard over there to get the word out. Wonder how many were FReepers? ;)
Precisely !
No where in their press release do they mention being sorry for their decision. Another American company will start up and kick these Brits butt.
Since it’s been postponed and not cancelled, does this mean they get to keep the advance $$$ paid by the venders? This could be a hardship for the small guys....
I never did like that little green salamander. Lets not forget bank of American and ge capital as well. Still would like to open “The 2nd Amendment Bank and Trust of America”. If I only had some money.
Molon labe.
This will ALSO be a devastating blow to the local economy...
Since Pennsylvanians reelected the same dufus’s this time around maybe they can blame each other for the lost $$$ from this fiasco.
Two of the sponsors of the show were Progressive insurance and ComCast. The former is a George Soros associated company (moveon.org, Media Matters, etc. http://washingtonisbroke.com/content/Progressive-Insurance-Cancel-your-policy) and the later owned by NBC. It figures that both support the Obama anti-gun agenda and were instrumental in having legal guns banned from display or even included in company brochures.
Reed has effectively canceled the show without an apology or even admission that they were at fault. The thinly veil a charge that it is the exhibitors that are at fault for getting bent out of shape over something that didnt directly affect them. Their illusion to politically charged atmosphere is bizarre, given they were the ones that charged it.
I dont think Reed will be doing this type of show in the future. Theyve fully alienated the audience, and this release just drives a nail in it.
Bravo! Can’t say enough good things about the companies that stood to their guns.
