They were. I remember reading a press release by CAIR, stating that in movies such as The Golden Voyage of Sindbad Sindbad and the Eye of the Tiger, Aladin or the Star Wars movies, the villain often looks or is identified as a Muslim. What they failed to note was that in the first three movies I mentioned, everyone with a speaking part is Muslim.
