"Barack Obama was not responsible for the Benghazi attack any more than George W. Bush was responsible for the 9/11 attacks"

Um, benghoweveryouspellit took place over a 7 hour period. We had planes within less than a half hour distance from the place. And even ground support wasn’t all that far away. I also don’t remember any stand down order for 9/11.

There are three scandals here...

• 1) The inexcusable lack of security.
• 2) The near inaction and denials of aid when the call for help came.
• 3) The bizarre "video did it" fraud that the Pres., Sec. State, UN Ambassador and other administration spokesholes perpetrated on the public.

Denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.

The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.

ONE man had the authority to act that night.

ONE man deserted his post!

But, the candy-ass had over 7 hours to respond, had every asset the US military has within 60 minutes to help out and then had the audacity to lie about how it all started.

None of this would be happening and he would be a f**king hero had he sent in troops and saved those people. Instead he tried covering up, whatever it was that was going on there.

Wonder if any of the survivors will ever answer a question. And the display that she put on this afternoon is despicable. Evidence that she’s never been held accountable or questioned on anything. She must have been one helluva lawyer.

Actually, in the weeks before the actual assault on the compound, the State Department, and Obozo, knew that Benghazi was a powderkeg. Amb. Stevens was knowingly SENT into a hostile environment WITHOUT adequate security. The attacks on 9/11/01 could have possibly been averted by Billy Jeff Clinton, who was handed the opportunity to take Bin Laden into custody on three separate occassions by the government of Yeman. The Bush Admin, briefed by the outgoing Clinton Admin, knew there was a threat from Al Queda, but the taletale signs were missed thanks to the dismantling of the intelligence apparatus by Clinton. It seems to me that in both 9/11/01 and Benghazi, the fault lies with the liberal morons who were in charge in both instances where there were intelligence failures.

Don't agree at all. He is totally responsible for Benghazi. He gave the directions for the gun running operation out of Benghazi to aid the Muslim Brotherhood and some offshoots of Al Qaeda both in Lybia and in Syria. The decision came directly from 1600 Penn Ave. Hence the smoke screen about the movie causing the attack. Obozo OWNS this one....

I guess my point was, whatever BS he had going on, by working w/ our enemies and arming the bad guys-which I agree with you on. My point was more that he could have squashed this bug within about 45 minutes of the first shot being fired or the first molotav cocktail being thrown. And for that inaction, for whatever reason, is where he has proven, yet again, that he is a complete incompetent and moron.

What sickens me more though, is that there doesn’t seem to be ONE person that is willing to stand up and say, “Enough”. Enough of all the lies that he, Rice and Clinton are telling about this. “This” is what happened.

His political machine or whoever is pulling his puppet strings must be some really really powerful folks.
