Don’t get snotty, just look at Churchill’s resume before British desperation pushed him on stage. Start with Gallipoli. Then invite that clot of empire building effete poofters and popinjays who gave the world the Versailles Treaty over for tea and thank them for WWII. What is it about empire that our founding fathers despised, but that our current think tank conservatives feel all warm and fuzzy with? Kill the empire.
