I’ve been talking to recruiters about Texas. I don’t want to be anywhere near tornadoes though and not near liberal Austin. Need suggestions here.

We've been thinking Texas too, but I'm afraid of the immigrants over-running the place in the next 10 years. What's left?

Yeah, I’d go nowhere near the southern parts. I’d wind up getting in a war with the drug cartels going through my land. I actually own land in El Paso but it’s not worth a damn.

The immigrants are not so bad for the most part.

Sure, there are takers among them, more so recently given the political climate. But there are as many takers among other...races as well.

LaRaza which has its own agenda, and gangs who are basically taking advantage of opportunity, aside - the average Mexican immigrant, legal or illegal, pretty much divorce themselves of politics.

Propaganda is a powerful tool. Propaganda makes good evil, evil good. Illegals were happy being illegal, and most of us were willing to overlook it until propaganda told us otherwise.

What I'm saying can't fit in the paragraphs offered.

“What’s left?”

Oklahoma; Louisiana is getting better; Nebraska; the Dakotas; Kansas and Missouri are possibilities, but not as conservative as the others. The western half of Iowa.

Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming are also pretty good if you can ignore the rich enviro-whackos.

Indiana used to be pretty conservative, but I don’t know how it is now.

It seems that on FR Texas is the number-one recommended destination. But what's wrong with the Deep South? Those states are just as conservative and do not have the immigration problem that Texas does.

Also, IMHO they have better weather.
