The Obama administration has taken exploiting children to a new low. On Thursday, the White House posted four YouTube videos of children reading letters to the president about finding a solution to the gun violence problem (the same kids sitting behind him on Wednesday). In Hinnas video, for example, she says, Can we stop using guns? I think if there are no guns on the street no one could get hurt. Bullets dont have eyes, it can hurt anyone. Im really scared of guns and criminals around the world. I love my country and I want everyone to be happy and safe. No guns, no guns, no guns, no guns.

Is this shocking? Yes and no. Yes, of course, because the president is exploiting the murder of children to push a gun agenda and he’s using children to do it. But then again, this is the Obama administration, the same folks that brought us the ad that pretty much accused Mitt Romney of killing a man’s wife (Yes, it was a SuperPAC ad, but don’t forget Stephanie Cutter’s involvement). The White House and Jay Carney have also been tweeting images of the kids’ letters. Whether or not we are surprised by this move, however, is beside the point. The administration is trying to push the gun agenda with emotion, not substance, as Chuck Todd even said about the president’s speech on Wednesday--and the use of children in doing so is absolutely disgraceful.

So it is ok to use THESE KIDS in ads, right?
I’m sure the d*ckless wonders bitching about the NRA ad on FR and in other venues will jump right on this. /s
Mommy, please don’t shoot the bad guy trying to force me into his car.
Daddy, just let them beat you up for awhile. Your bruises will heal...maybe. If not, you have insurance to pay for your funeral. These poor bad guys probably don’t.
You know; NEVER LET A CRISIS go to waste. . but, using children as HUMAN SHIELDS is reprehensible.
They have made such an attempt to twist the NRA ad as "attacking obamas children" when even my 7 year old son understand the message is about obama himself and his hypocrisy, and then they think we are all STUPID enough to think these 1st graders came up with all this...
I can't imagine they don't realize just how stupid this all makes them look coaching little kids to write propaganda for them.
Seriously, is this a joke? Has The Onion taken over the white house public relations?
Shocking!
“Dear Santa, all I want is a BB gun”
Kids say the darnest things.
“I think if there are no guns on the street no one could get hurt”....quoted Hinna.
I can see someone like Michael Moore or Piers Morgan using the dispicable approach of parading innocent and uneducated children in front of the cameras to promote their agenda. But for the President of the United States to use this tactic is unconscionable and dispicable. Basically, the President is using the same logic that a ten-year old would use in his/her arguments. Making such an emotional argument to justify his ludicrous actions brings the President down to the level of an elementary school student. The President of the United States should base his actions on logic and facts instead of playing on the fears of our citizens.
Typical commie tactic. Use the kids to advance political agenda. The teachers brainwash the kids, the doctors are deputized to spy on their patients. soon kids will be spying on their parents and then neighbors will spy on neighbors
The same kids Obama didn’t exploit at the white house are now not being exploited on the white house youtube channel. LOL
reprehensible
Please have children of laid off coal miners, coal fired power plant workers and other industries write letters begging the administration to relax the regulations so the jobs come back.
Bring them and their letters to the house or senate floor and let the kids read them so all the dims get the heat.
Time to fight fire with fire.
Bump
Bingo.
HAve you noticed that you are being ignored. There is some validity to your posts but get a grip.
What are you trying to say?
I do not for a minute believe that everyone on these SSRI’s is a threat to myself or my family.
How many of these people were previous felons?
How many should have been incarcerated in mental institutions?
Please make an argument and stop propagating your repeat posts.
How about starting your own thread to discuss this issue?
Hey Obama, you jerkwad a$$wipe, let’s ask the “wittle” children what they think about sucking the brains out of little babies in the womb? Seems to me we have nothing but children in Congress and the White Hut.
