“And yet, where was the rifle?

Locked in the tunk of Lanza’s car.”

There was no rifle in Lanza’s car. Go watch the video yourself, or if you are not a “gun nut”, send it to your favorite FReeper who is one, and see if they tell you that is a rifle.

At work. You tube blocked.

So tell me. What was in the trunk of Lanza’s car, if not a rifle?

It looked like a Saiga shotgun to me, but it was REAL blurry, almost impossible to tell for sure.. I know it wasn't an AR-15 because the cops were clearing the chamber pulling the bolt handle on the SIDE of the thing rather than a charging handle at the REAR (as would be on any AR platform). You can even see the rounds eject and it is a shotshell cartridge, not a rifle round.

There was a rifle found in the trunk of the car, but it looked more like a shotgun, not an AR
