Who were the two guys apprehended, what the hell were they doing there, and why did all-a-sudden like they just sorta disappeared?
Face it. There are only two possibilities.
Either it was a crazy lone nutcase who was able to haul like 50 pounds of gear into the school WITHOUT a single security photo, etc...
Or it was special ops.
That’s it. There is no middle ground.
He mentioned the “waiting period” as a second reason. One could be forgiven for hearing those two statements as a single statement, since waiting periods are part of strict regulations.

I listened intently to the news that day and they were earliest reported as being rifle rounds.
The reason I remember is that the next report said they found pistols with him and I thought Huh??
The first report of a rifle said they found it in the trunk.
And I thought Huh? again.

You are correct. If you can listen to his press conference he says “Long Gun” at around 4:30. He appears to be a rambling drunk could not watch the whole thing but your welcome to.

The theory I’ve read is his mom talked about how much she liked working with the kids at the school. When her son found out she was trying to get him committed, he killed her and then those he thought she loved more than him.

In his official statement, the Medical Examiner, Wayne Carver, was clear that all the wounds from the seven autopsies he performed himself were caused by the rifle. In the same press conference, a reporter specifically asked about the “rifle in the trunk” story, and two separate law enforcement officials said immediately that it was incorrect. In addition, the video of the recovery of the weapon in the trunk is publicly available, and the weapon is clearly a shotgun, not a rifle.

It was a shotgun, it didn’t just look like a shotgun. Rifles do not eject shotgun shells.

The version I’ve seen most often is about 1:22, it is a clip from the helicopter coverage embedded in a news broadcast. I think there are other versions of the video around that show the raw footage without the news broadcast, but I’m not sure how long the complete footage is.

That is absolutely not an AR rifle, but shotgun!! And a long gun at that. It looks closer to a standard Remmington 870 type hunting shotgun. That IS A SHOTGUN!!!! That was an expelled SHOTGUN round!!

No it is absolutely not impossible. Anyone familiar with firearms will readily ID that as a shotgun.
as mentioned upthread, the original words are the best, from the actual witnesses...why havent we heard their stories, or are they ALL dead...??? did no adults that actually saw the shooter[s] live to tell their story ??? hmmm???
