I was driving home this afternoon and had the Len Tillem show on (advice show from a lawyer). Note in podcast at 15:45 (today, 1-16-13), he's admonishing a caller not to get confrontive because "people can have guns on them" and then he says "There's loonies out there... shooting up schools... and THE NRA IS TELLING THEM IT'S A GOOD IDEA" [emphasis mine).

Who or what is a Len Tillem?
The memories of the Beslan Massacre, Fort Hood Massacre, and Christmas plane bomb threat have faded in the minds of Americans.
We have been instructed by Homeland Security to “Duck and Cover and Cower” if we see an armed person in public.
Passengers were quick to comply with hijacker demands on the morning of 9-11.
The threat of Islamonazi terrorism remains. It is NOT a “lone nut” force of evil. The planes were hit on 9-11-2001 because they were soft targets. Schools remain soft targets with the insistence that they will not be defended by armed guards.
Changing gun laws does nothing to minimize the threat that exists in the modern world. Pretending it is all “workplace related violence” or because of “bigotry against muslims” is laughable.
Lawyers have caused thousands of times more destruction to our nation than have guns

Never heard of him. But I wonder if the NRA could make a little money suing this guy for slander.
As a lawyer, he should surely know better. Or is this left-wing “freedom of the press”?
If you have ever listened to Len you know he says lots of blood boiling stuff. His is a slam bang approach to why you will lose you case and what the heck were you thinking anyway. He makes outageous comments all the time. It is part of the schtick.
Does he believe it? Probably because he is a laaahhhhyer in the Bay Area. He jibes and pokes at all sorts of things ——particularly lawyers
Seriously, once my friend and I were listening and some woman called up and said she was fired because she wouldn’t have sex with her and he told her not to get a lawyer.
What ambulances need is a device that will drop dollar bills on the ground behind them on the way to the hospital.Just to throw the lawyers off the scent.

Must be some dog breed. I hear he chases ambulances.
1. Communicate it to the NRA, with date, approximate time and station, so they can take any appropriate action.
2. Report it to the State Bar of California. I guarantee he has violated the rules of professional conduct with that kind of statement (assuming he is actually even admitted to the bar).

I’ve never heard anything of that level in the few times I’ve listened. That was just out of control though, I’d hope to hell he lets what he is going to say pass through the lobes before the lips when he’s in front of the bench...
Lawyers on radio and TV shows are there because they can’t find real clients. They troll for insurance frauds, welfare frauds, and professional suers.
I stepped in some Len Tillem once. It was really hard getting it off my shoes.
