Sounds like George Orwell’s “1984”? Wrong. It’s 2013. And if President Barack Obama gets his way by executive order, doctors across the country could play a key role in his new gun control initiative.
On Wednesday morning, Obama released a sweeping 23 executive actions and orders he will take to limit gun usage. Already, talk of the executive orders has raised significant controversy. Order 16, for example, may raise serious concerns with privacy advocates. The order, as summarized, simply states federal agencies will “clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.” …

Simple solution: lie. “Oh, no, Doc. I don’t have any guns. I hate guns. Wouldn’t let ‘em near me. No sirree ...”
Look up oppositional defiant disorder in the DSM IV. That kind of answer will get you reported to the feds as being “mentally ill” and prohibited from gun ownership.

If the doctor asks, then you just say, "I got your gun right here. Put that in your chart."
They also have veterinarians collecting data under the guise of asking if you use your dog for hunting.
A good doc would say take two asprin and call me in the morning. If you have a good doc, take him out to the range or hunting.

Obamacare also makes all medical records, in part, property of the federal government. If your doctor records your answers to his/her questions about what guns types and quanities you keep in your house, that information is also property of the federal government.
My wife and I just agreed we would not be sharing that information with our doctors.

You are absoutely correct, while it my be entertaining to post defiant comments here, in fact just LIE
It goes far beyond that. The doctor will ask your children. The doctor will ask your children if they know if any of their friends have guns. All of that then goes into a massive database that never forgets.
