This is a *teachable moment* for shooting sports. We need more of the type of ad, that addresses the lives that were saved by gun owners [in their own words] protecting their family/property.

I shouted that mantra at the TV several times last night.
“Then take the guards away from YOUR daughter’s school!”
The most entertaining part was watching Joe and Mika having absolute fits about it this Morning really had me laughing,.both of them for over week been demanding that the GOP sign onto gun control, so this sent them into an absolute tizzy. They even played it twice.
Joe : I am ashamed for this nation after that ad”
Joe :”The NRA is dead. They own members disagree with them, Its over. ”
JOE :”They turned Os kids into targets”
Better yet
Mika :”Ok I have tried to understand those with 2nd amendment concerns. I have tried to understand why they are scared and buying guns frantically. But now I dont care after this. I dont care what they think anymore. This is the end. No more trying to understand. ”

People who watch The Sportsman’s Channel ALREADY KNOW AND BELIEVE THIS!
Your ad needs to be running on CNN, TBS, Lifetime, A&E, and all other channels where people who are CLUELESS might have a chance of seeing it.
The only problem is that the low information voters will never see it.
Unfortunately, I don't think so. Did you see the comments on the linked page? People who think guns are the problem will think it's OK to make a distinction between the President's daughters and yours.
They're correct on one point - the President's daughters would be a target for more intentional crimes than your children would be. But they miss the point that having a gun handy is the only solution when the criminal is unstable and not planning an intentional crime.
Liberals know that guns in the hands of honest people are to protect. They know that taking guns away from honest, law-abiding people and deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals will cause more honest people to be killed.
They know, and are happy that way.
