Indeed! The orginal Top Gear is more irreverent and testosterone-fueled than the US version. Also, there is genuine rapport and freindship among Jeremy, Captain Slow, and the Hamster.

I didn’t like Jeremy at first but I think I like him most of all. He’s got the perfect attitude toward government.

Last week I read an article by him suggesting that if rich people pay more taxes they should be able to drive as fast as they want. People on assistance can drive on the sidewalk.
