Obviously no stranger to the system, and assured of “three hots and a cot” for the foreseeable future, Vanessa smiled for her booking photo.

The headline is incorrect...it’s not “womEn stole police cruiser” it’s “womAn stole police cruiser.” Women is plural, and woman is singular. From the story it looks like only one person was involved with the theft.
To: ConservativeStatement
Based upon the headline alone and without looking further, I made two guesses. I was right on both counts. Hint: one of them was “Florida”.

Smart, very smart! By driving to a MickeyD’s and not as expected to a Dunkin Dognuts she tried to mislead the pursuing parties!

The charges will be dropped for stealing the police car but she’ll get life in prison for buying a happy meal.

The Tampa Bay Times has the title correct using ‘woman’. The Sun used that story but screwed up the title.
Before taking the police vehicle the woman flagged down a truck, she reached inside and stole a cell phone and then ran back into the apartment complex. The driver chased her so she ran back into the parking lot got into the police vehicle and left. The police spotted the vehicle at McDonalds which she then abandoned and ran away on foot before they caught her. When she abandoned the vehicle it was in gear and it backed into a tree. So she has multiple charges pending.

I’ll bet there was one of those evil assault rifles in the trunk of the police car encouraging this woman to pursue a life of crime.

If they’re out of chicken nuggets, she can put out her own APB.

“Come on. Who here hasn’t done this?”
In a dump truck and a school bus. But never a cop car. Funny thing, the cops frown on using those vehicles too.
