VITAMIN C, TITRATING TO BOWEL TOLERANCE, ANASCORBEMIA, AND ACUTE INDUCED SCURVY
Robert F. Cathcart, III, M.D. Allergy, Environmental, and Orthomolecular Medicine 127 Second Street, Los Altos, California 94022, USA Telephone 650-949-2822
WOW...that is awesome!
I’ve used vitamin C several times to succesfully deal with infections. The most I’ve ever taken was about 30 grams in one day. Usually I’ll take an initial 5-10 gram dose which reaches bowel tolerance, and then 2 grams every other hour afterwards.
Buy the powder form in 8 or 16 ounce sizes. Just ordered an additional 8 ounce bottle in case I should develop flu symptoms. Take a gram to 1 1/2 grams each day during winter, about 1/2 gram in summer.
I'm sure everyone is different, but this has served me well for 30 years now.
Since we're talking health, I'll add a tid bit. - I was at the hospital to visit a friend two years ago and stopped by the snack bar in the lobby where I heard three doctors talking about flu shots being given on another floor. One of them seemed negative and I thought I heard him say, "I'll pass". When the other docs left I asked him about the shots which I don't take. I joked and said my take is that if everyone else gets one there will be no one to make me sick. He said the best safeguard against flu is frequent hand washing and advised me to pick up a small bottle of clear iodine, not the red stuff, and apply it around my nostrils several times a day to act as a disinfectant. Although flu is not primarily an airborne virus we touch our faces, especially around the nose a lot.

I have MS too and heard about turmeric helping to control MS exacerbations.
The prescribed daily injections are very expensive.
I need to study alternatives in case OBAMACARE says no more injections.
I'll check it out.
Thank you so much! hummingbird
Check out post #33 from opentalk.
Thanks again, opentalk!
Make that post #38.
HA!
Yes, the yoga pants can be a little risque and unforgiving!
I go with sweats. Mrs. FreedomPoster might agree with the sweats!
I know Mr. hummingbird does!

This group discusses how to make the newest, most effective form of vitamin C ...Called liposomal encapsulated vitamin C. You can take large doses orally. That are as effective as the megadoses that Dr Cathcart can only administer orally
This New Zealand farmer with a severe lung infection...His life was saved with vitamin C

I currently take C in the form of magnesium ascorbate
Thanks!
I’ve been taking D3 for a few weeks now at about 6000 to 8000 IU’s a day also.
The anti-inflammatory in Tumeric is Curcumin. I take 3 500mg capsules/day. I strongly recommend it.
Very interesting video. It's a shame that the medical establishment is so against trying alternative treatments. I have no doubt that vitC restored my lung health.
I wonder if it can help in the fight against cancer. With Obamacare looming on the horizon, we need to do everything we can so there won’t be a need for a doctor that might not be available.
Glad you’re feeling better. I’ve avoided the flu/cold so far. Extra C, but not that high adose.
LOL!
