So who was calling Powell a “house negro” when he was working in the Bush administration?

Colin Powell feels “hostility from rest of Republican party” because he’s black. So claims former Obama car czar. Baloney! Ping to Today show list.

RE :”
Oh those racist Republicans. Did you know that they're hostile to Colin Powell because he's black? Yup, just ask former Obama car czar Steve Rattner. The Morning Joe regular today claimed that poor Powell “feels this hostility toward him from the rest of the party in part because he's a minority.” I know having Powell as SoS helped GWB get re-elected, but he sure created a monster.
All we need is an ex-GWB SoS claiming he's a Republican on TV lecturing Rs how they must be more liberal to survive.
At least Condi doesnt pull crap like that.

"feels this hostility toward him from the rest of the party in part because he's a minority." ... which begs the question,
how did someone with such poor analytical and problem recognition skills get to the position of CJCS?

Powell is the racist, voting for the Black Man instead of his own party moderates Republicans MeCain & Romney.

Powell “feels hostility” from the GOP because he has broken his Oath. The man has no honor.

That’s ridiculous, Powell is the perfect poster boy for the GOP. Wishy-washy, stands for nothing.

Or in other words, "Republicans are racist, just ask a Democrat"?. I'm shocked and dismayed.

I wonder if John Boehner is feeling any hostility from fellow republicans?

Powell could have been President. He had the full support of the Republican Party, in the aggregate and in detail. He chose to say no. His statement is specious.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Rattner is an idiot. Most GOP members are extremely supportive of “blacks” who are supportive of liberty and individual rights...Justice Clarence Thomas, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Condi Rice, Dr. Walter Williams, Allen West, and Kenneth Gladney are a few examples. You know...the black people the Democrats always call “Oreos,” or refer to by saying they “aren't really black”...

The hostility is because he’s not a conservative.

So you mean to tell me that Powell is just another whiny very rich, very successful black guy that thinks he is put upon by whites especially Republicans?
He is now and always been a pri@k.

Colin Powell would have trounced Monica’s boyfriend in the 1996 election. However, he did not want the job. Gutless wonder.

Any hostility I have toward that Obama enabler is because he is stupid, not because of his pigmentation.
What an idiot.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
This is ridiculous. He was promoted by President Reagan and the first President Bush with strong GOP support. If he wanted it, he probably could have been the GOP nominee for president in 1996. He rejected the Republican Party, not the other way around.

Well, Conservatives feel hostility from the GOP too, but for much different reasons.
Why is it that West and Keyes report no hostility from Conservatives?
The Colon is a race pimp and a liberal so no, he's not welcome by Conservatives, and as far as the GOP, who knows what's going on. Maybe he's miffed because he didn't get invited to the Bohemian Grove.
