President Barack Obama said U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan will adopt a “support role” starting in the spring of 2013, to allow Afghan police and soldiers to take full responsibility of the country’s security, a nation where 2,053 American soldiers have died since the war started on Oct. 7, 2001.

Seventy-two percent of those casualties occurred during Obama's first term.

“And today we agreed, as Afghan forces take the lead and as President Karzai announces the final phase of the transition, coalition forces will move to a support role this spring,” Obama said Friday at the White House, alongside Afghan President Hamid Karzai. …

Of course, Obama had nothing to do with any failure in Afghanistan. He was only responsible for our effort. I hope our casualties weren’t for nothing, but with this crowd of leftist fools running the show, you can’t tell.

I don't think this mob gives a rat's behind about our troops. Pure disgust for the troops, if you ever got the commies to be honest.

To put that into perspective, his rules of engagement have gotten more soldiers killed in peace time than when the wars were going full bore and we were in door to door CQB street fighting through entire cities like Fallujah.

Now that Obama is President we don't see reporters CNN giving daily photo journal reports on each and every soldier KIA, even though larger numbers are being killed now under Obama then when they were on their propaganda Jihad against the war and George Bush .

Half the population of the US is totally unaware that still have troops fighting in Afghanistan thanks to the media .

It's sickening and destroys any credibility these talking heads have

For his part, Obama seems delighted to leave our soldiers in a Vietnam like mess that grinds both the soldiers and our military capability into the ground, kills soldiers unnecessarily and destroys their moral and ultimately bankrupts the country in the process

Whole thing makes me sick. USA has not been allowed to win a war in my lifetime. All these battles and lost soldiers dying for what I wonder? Not so the USA can remain strong and free. Just political fodder I believe.
Korean War is still not won for heaven’s sake!
