I got news for ya, there are "intolerant" ones on both sides. Intolerance is everywhere, in many forms, some less obvious than others.

I reject completely that the GOP is somehow less tolerant of others. Its an old canard, eff that, and eff Colin Powell too, I used to like the guy, even when others here did not. I am now a "hater" too.
