A group of like-minded patriots, bound together by pride in American exceptionalism, plan on building an armed community to protect their liberty.
The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho. The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who "voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson's ideal of Rightful Liberty."
According to the Citadel website, Rightful Liberty means that "neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors' business, that neighbors live and let live."
Citadel explains that residents in the community will be bound by the following:
Patriotism Pride in American Exceptionalism Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes --such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina -- or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse. Residents should also agree that being "prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of Liberty -- the Rifle -- are prudent measures."
Some of the benefits of the Citadel community include a safe, well-prepared, patriotic community where children will be educated in school, not indoctrinated.
The community will be protected by a perimeter wall that will be inaccessible to "tourists." Each neighborhood within the community will have lower walls, dividing the town into defensible sections.
The website has a link to applications where prospective residents can sign up. According to Citadel, more than 200 families have completed applications, even before any land has been purchased.
While Citadel may sound wonderful to many who are reading this, the community has posted a warning on their home page:
"Marxists, Socialists, Liberals and Establishment Republicans will likely find that life in our community is incompatible with their existing ideology and preferred lifestyles."
Citadel says that every patriot selected to live within the community "will voluntarily agree to follow the footsteps of our Founding Fathers by swearing to one another our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor to defend one another and Liberty against all enemies, foreign and domestic."
but today with fighter jets , drones, helicopters, it wouldnt have a prayer.

Put up that Star Wars that NO one supposedly wanted, couple of Carrier Defense systems.
A piranha stocked moat with drawbridges would be putting a little of the ‘old’ with the new.
It certainly will be, or perhaps like The FLDS debacle, or some combination. Could become the Harper’s Ferry moment in reverse.
“.Dont think any of that will be going on in THIS community.”
Actually those are the areas where this should be done.
Does anyone seriously believe this?
ELOHIM CITY, OKLAHOMA.

Of course, backwards that is Mihole City - in case no one noticed.
I became more aware of backward spelling after I discovered EVIAN backwards was NAIVE - very fitting....
The government could simply lay a siege and starve the community out.
Easily taken out by fuel air explosives, tactical nukes or neutron weapons! This isn’t 250 years ago and leftists don’t use honorable tactics.
Probably created by a bunch of 12 year old video gamers to see if they can get people’s credit card numbers to keep their x-box live accounts going.
Assembling in one place is not a good idea, even if that place is hardened.
Bunker buster.
It may be wiser to spread out and become mobile.
If the government had to find a deal with a large number of difficult to find people over a large area, the government would soon exhaust its already dwindling funds, especially if those people discontinued funding their persecutors.
It may be just a meager suggestion but if there is open country a form of a modern day Maginot line “could” work.
Underground bunkers with pop up cylinders with chain guns, remote controlled.
Or several hundred ATVs also remote controlled, each with several auto firing shotguns, like a quad 12 ga saiga drum mounts, and lastly have an explosive clamore so when empty can be driven into a line of attackers.
For a defense against tanks it gets much more problematic unless there was in place concealed tank traps or sand pits with aeration that sends a massive amount of air into a sand ditch that no tank can drive over, it sinks.
When a hovercraft is deployed again having devices in play that can tear the skirts up “might” work.
And then you have to be concerned about HALO jumpers at night.
Someone plays too many video games.
“Is this the beginning of the Bosniazation of the USA?”
That happened LONG ago. Have you been paying attention to our current immigration situation? Entire towns look and sound and smell like they were pulled out of the worst Mexican gettos. They’re business and governments are conducted in a FOREIGN language. Same thing in some midwestern cities with the Muslims. We were Balkanized a long time ago.

For those who would like to take a look.

Kind of think that if one has a ‘problem’ with a tenants association, this will NOT be the place for you.
I can see a tin hat despot running this like a fiefdom.
The concept is not really much of a step away from the ‘communes’ of days gone by.
Now I’m gonna have to come up with my own fantasy plan.
In the real world we have a far more effective system as it is. Thousands of little towns with networks of family and friends interconnected with other little towns.
I’m thinking of a unicorn ranch with invisibility cloak.
I like it.
I don’t see this working.
Still under federal laws for housing among others.
As funny as it sounds I have a strong feeling the winners of a Second American revolution and the restoration of our leadership according to the constitution may be the ones that did indeed learn from Nintendo and Xbox tactics.
